How to make Power Ranger mask using paper mache ?

What do we need ?

One news paper

Scissor

Fevicol

One balloon

Step1 : Blow a balloon of required size

And hang it where it is easy to work

Step2: cut paper strips. Note that if the width of strip small then we get very good shape and no gaps. But takes long, very long. Little above 1inch had given me nice results

Step 3:Mix water and fevicol in equal proportions. Mix well till there are no lumps.

Step 4: Dip each paper piece of paper and place it on the balloon. Remember to remove excess liquid by using your fingers or the room of the vessel.

Step5: after you have done one layer. Remove the excess liquid fevicol from the buttom. Let it dry for 10 minutes. Then start with another later. We have to do it for 6 layer to give it nice rigid structure. 

Step 6: Leave it to dry for a day. Be patient....

Cut the paper mache structure or shape you want. I wanted to make helmet which covers whole head for my son. But the balloon I choice was bit small. So I had to settle for a mask rather than an helmet.

Step 7: Paint your favorite color. Involve your kid. They enjoy painting
